Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast on August 29, 2005. As the first anniversary passes this week, please remember that it will take years for many of the families in the region to recover. Charity In Action continues to send assistance to hard-hit areas in Mississippi. Thanks to your ongoing support we are preparing to make another significant contribution to Hancock County. Charity In Action is also considering a long term service trip proposal to ensure that we can continue to make a difference over the coming years. Many of us are able to take the little things for granted. Let’s remember our neighbors to the south and strive to bring stability to their lives.
